About Chef Sheron

With over twenty years of experience creating extraordinary culinary masterpieces, Sheron Chin has a simple philosophy, “One eats with their eyes before their first bite.”

As a graduate of the prestigious Fashion Institute of Technology in NYC, she decided to take her artistic & creative abilities to the restaurant world which translated into a fusion of delectable cuisines, not only in taste but also in presentation.

After owning several restaurants in NYC & also appearing on the Food Networks’ Throwdown with Bobby Flay, The Cooking Channel with G. Gavin. She decided to relocate to south Florida shifting focus on launching Standing Ovation Events & Catering / DBA Chef Sheron Catering Lifestyles, the total package. Her specialties feature a healthy fusion of Caribbean, southern & Latin cuisines.

Her list of clientele includes corporate & private entities such as; Broward colleges’ Bailey Hall Performing-Arts center; as an exclusive caterer, Sunshine Health, Florida State Minority supplier development council, among others. Sheron is a recipient of the South Florida Minority Development Council 41st Gala Awards, ‘MBE supplier of the year. Voted Best caterer in South Florida by Legacy Magazine 2022. Awarded by Legacy as one of South Florida’s Most Powerful & Influential Black Business Leaders of 2022.
